In the original design, the bow gunner position was inaccessible due to the T-34’s sloped armor. Hull modifications were made to create sufficient space for this critical role, accommodating both the gun and an assistant driver. The result was a usable, maintainable station that preserved historical accuracy while enhancing functionality. The MG34 installation was built to correct dimensions, blending authentic aesthetics with practical performance. The ball mount can be locked for storage, plugged when not in use, and easily disassembled for maintenance.
